Very historic museum and all old machinery they used still there! People that work there have maintained the building! Would recommend this museum if you want to see how they used to make carpet, shoes, and many other amazing things!

A testament of textile industry in early Canada. Can we bring it back?

Great exhibits and the permanent exhibit is very interesting if you want to learn about local history. Not a lot of parking spaces but street parking is conveniently close. Gift shop has handmade items from local crafters. Worth a visit!

If you are in the Almonte area, don't miss this exceptional museum. There is a permanent exhibition of equipment and other artifacts to illustrate the history of textile manufacturing in the Almonte area.
